Before co-founders, we were friends.
We met at the start of university, at Politecnico di Milano in 2017, and we studied together all the way through. That is why we trust each other with the hard parts.
It started with one device.
In 2020 Jibril started building the meter he wanted to use himself. He kept working on it for years, and it grew into a complete open hardware design, with PCB, firmware and documentation published for anyone to build on. Makers around the world use it: 271 stars on GitHub, certified open source hardware.
When it was ready to become more than a project, we climbed on board.
From a project to a company.
In January 2026 we founded EnergyMe S.r.l. in Milan. The first customers followed in May, and the first devices shipped to homes and businesses around the world.
We build hardware and software together, so they work as one. Each of us owns a part of that.
