EnergyMe-Home
A dashboard speaks more than a thousand words: check out the demo of what you will get with EnergyMe-Home!
Or, if you want to know if an EnergyMe-Home is already working in your country, check out the real-time map in the homepage!
Description
Circuit-level energy monitoring for your electrical panel. EnergyMe-Home mounts on a standard DIN rail (3 modules wide), measures up to 16 circuits simultaneously via CT clamps, and gives you real-time consumption data per circuit, not just the whole house.
Built on ESP32-S3 with a dedicated energy measurement IC, galvanically isolated from mains. Fully open-source hardware and firmware (CERN-OHL-S-2.0 / GPL-3.0). Schematics, PCB files, and BOM are available in GitHub (200+ stars).
Local-first: all data stays on-device by default. No cloud dependency. Integrates with your stack via REST API, MQTT, Modbus TCP, InfluxDB, or the beloved Home Assistant via the dedicated integration.
Works with any residential electrical system: single-phase 230V, split-phase 120V/240V, and three-phase 400V/230V or 208V/120V.
Key features
16 measurement channels: 1 main + 15 branch circuits
<1% measurement error — each unit individually calibrated before shipping
3.5mm jack CT inputs (333mV), compatible with all EnergyMe CT clamps (30A, 75A, 150A)
Universal AC input: 100–240 VAC, 50–60 Hz, ~1W consumption
ESP32-S3, Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz, mDNS (energyme.local), OTA updates
REST API, MQTT, Modbus TCP, InfluxDB, Home Assistant out of the box
Web dashboard accessible from any device on the local network
Token-based authentication and password-protected access point
10+ years of hourly local data logging with CSV export
Waveform analyzer for voltage and current per channel
No cloud dependency, fully local operation
Active development: regular firmware releases, full changelog on GitHub
Ready for the EnergyMe mobile app and cloud platform (coming soon)
Open-source: hardware (CERN-OHL-S-2.0) + firmware (GPL-3.0)
Dimensions: 54 mm × 91 mm × 60 mm
In the box
1× EnergyMe-Home
4× EnergyMe CT Clamp 30A
Installation and safety documentation
